Universities and research institutions
Academic license for universities, technical institutes and public research centers, for teaching and research. Non-commercial use only. Reports generated under the academic license carry an academic-use watermark. Seats and scope depend on each institution; priced on request and invoiced to the institution.
All plans include full utility-scale PV simulation: modeling, Monte Carlo P50/P90 and the study report. Professional adds more seats and priority support. Enterprise adds dedicated support and onboarding, dedicated compute, SSO and an SLA.

Pricing questions
What if my project exceeds my plan's MWp limit?
Write to us and we agree the plan change. There is no plan self-service: we make the change and it shows up on your next invoice. For projects over 150 MWp, contact sales.
What counts as an "active project"?
Any project you haven't archived. Archived projects don't count toward your plan's limit, and you can reactivate them whenever you want.
How do seats work?
Each seat is a user with full access to the platform. The organization admin invites the team. On Professional, additional seats cost +$250/mo each.
How do I get started with Heliosolve?
For now, you start with a session with an engineer: we look at your case and, if Heliosolve fits it, we activate your plan. Today every plan is paid by invoice and wire transfer: Starter and Professional, monthly or annually; Enterprise, annually.
How can I see the product before paying?

What currency and taxes apply?
Prices are in USD, excluding taxes. Any applicable VAT or sales tax is added to the invoice based on your country, and we tell you in writing before we issue it.
What happens to my projects if I cancel?
Your projects, designs and reports are yours and you can download them at any time. These are the formats you can export today: layout as DXF, KML/KMZ and LandXML; cable schedule and electrical bill of materials as CSV; engineering and bankability reports as PDF; the full project as a portable bundle; and an export in PVsyst format that PVsyst can read.
Is there an academic license?
Yes, for universities, technical institutes and public research centers, for teaching and research only. It is quoted per institution and invoiced to it. Institutions can also join the current closed beta.
