What Does Heliosolve Do If One of Its Comparisons Gets Something Wrong?
TL;DR. If something we say about another tool, or about ours, is wrong, we correct it. We give a first response within 48 hours on business days, publish the change with a date and record it in the changelog. It doesn’t matter who reports it: a vendor, a user or a competitor.
What do we commit to?
| Commitment | Timeframe |
|---|---|
| Acknowledge receipt and give a first response | 48 hours on business days |
| Correct a factual error with a clear public source | We tell you the timeframe in the first response |
| Record the change in the changelog | Same day as the correction |
| Review all comparison pages | Every quarter (next: 2026-12-14) |
How do I report an error?
Write to contact@heliosolve.com with:
- The page and the sentence you think is wrong (copy the text).
- What it should say.
- A public link that supports it: documentation, release notes or pricing page.
- If you’re the vendor, say so: we prioritise the review.
We don’t need confidential information. We only cite public sources: if a feature exists but isn’t publicly documented, it stays as “not publicly documented” until there’s a link, and we’ll explain why.
How do we decide?
- A public source contradicts us: we correct.
- The source is ambiguous: we rewrite the sentence to say only what the source says, or mark the cell ”◐”.
- There is no public source: we don’t claim anything; we use “not publicly documented”.
- The error is about Heliosolve: we correct it just the same. If something we describe isn’t available in the product interface, we remove it from the page.
What don’t we change?
- The Heliosolve limits we state (validation against measurement at one plant, no track record with banks, small team): they’re only updated when they actually change.
- Unpublished prices: we don’t publish figures given to us privately.
How is each change recorded?
Each correction adds an entry to the changelog in this format:
YYYY-MM-DD
Page: vs-xxx (es/en)
Change: what it said → what it says now
Reason: factual error | product change | new source | quarterly review
Source: public link
Reported by: vendor | user | internal review
The corrected page updates its “Last reviewed” date.
What are this policy’s limits?
- It covers only Heliosolve’s comparison pages.
- It doesn’t replace legal channels: a formal complaint is also handled through that channel.
- We’re a small team; that’s why the correction timeframe is set case by case.
Frequently asked questions
Do you publish who reported the error? Only the type (vendor, user, internal review), not the name.
What if a vendor launches a new feature? We add it once there’s public documentation, at the next quarterly review or earlier.
Do you delete the previous version? The page shows the corrected version; the changelog keeps what changed and why.
Does this also apply to what we say about Heliosolve? Yes, with the same criteria.
